Join the Hemp Alliance of Tennessee for its October Member Meeting this Saturday, October 15 at Buds and Brews at 1244 3rd Avenue N., Nashville, TN 37208. The focus of October’s meeting will be the status of industrial hemp and fiber in Tennessee. HAT President Frederick Cawthon will discuss what HAT has been doing what to help develop infrastructure and pathways to success for industrial and fiber hemp as well as the association’s plans for the future. Denise Woods from TDA will also be speaking at the meeting concerning hemp fiber.  She will discuss grants that have been made available for processors and future grants that will attempt to develop a viable market for industrial hemp and fiber.
